Meenamulligan Bridge Officially Opens

The new Meenamulligan Bridge in Donegal was officially opened on Wednesday June 9 by Charlie McConalogue TD, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Marine, and Cllr Rena Donaghey Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council with Cllr Albert Doherty, Cathaoirleach of Inishowen Municipal District in attendance.
The new bridge, built by BAM, has a 125 year design life, is 7.1m wide and is supported by a 24.3m single span concrete structure across the Crana River. It replaces the original two span structure which was destroyed in torrential flooding in August 2017.
